LOMO Route Studio Privacy Policy
LOMO Route Studio is a local-first iPhone app that turns selected photos into short route-story videos. This policy describes what the app accesses on your device and the limited network calls it makes.
What the app accesses
- Selected photos from your photo library
- Metadata inside those selected photos, including timestamp and GPS location when available
- Generated video files created on your device
How the app uses that data
- To sort selected photos by time
- To group photos into places or moments
- To request a human-readable place name from Apple's reverse geocoding service using the photo's GPS coordinates
- To generate route previews and route-story videos
- To save exported videos back to your photo library when you choose to save them
Network use
LOMO Route Studio renders videos entirely on your device, but it does make a small number of network calls in the following cases:
- Reverse geocoding — when you build a new route, the app sends the GPS coordinates extracted from your selected photos to Apple's reverse geocoding service to obtain readable place names (for example, "Paris, France"). No user identifier is attached to these requests. They are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Sharing — when you tap "Share" on a rendered video, iOS opens its standard Share Sheet and you choose the destination app. LOMO Route Studio itself does not upload your video; the destination app you select handles delivery.
- Project page link — tapping the project page link in Settings opens an external browser. The app does not transmit your data to that page.
What the app does not do
- No account creation, no sign-in
- No upload of your photos or videos
- No backend server for user data
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
- No social posting on your behalf
- No sale of personal data
- No in-app purchases in this version — every globe skin is included for free
Data retention
LOMO Route Studio does not store your photos, videos, or coordinates on any server. Reverse-geocoding requests sent to Apple are not retained by LOMO Route Studio. Selected photos and generated outputs are stored locally on your device.

The app uses third-party software components for photo access
(photo_manager), video encoding and playback
(video_player, AVFoundation), reverse geocoding
(geocoding), iOS Share Sheet integration
(share_plus), external link handling
(url_launcher), local settings storage
(shared_preferences), and the Flutter runtime.
These components run locally on your device.

앱이 접근하는 항목

- 루트 미리보기와 루트 스토리 영상 생성
- 사용자가 선택할 때 사진 라이브러리에 생성된 영상 저장
네트워크 사용
LOMO Route Studio는 영상을 디바이스 안에서 렌더링하지만, 다음과 같은 경우에 제한적인 네트워크 호출을 합니다.
- 역지오코딩 — 새 여정을 만들 때, 앱은 선택한 사진에서 추출한 GPS 좌표를 Apple 역지오코딩 서비스에 보내 읽기 좋은 장소 이름(예: "서울, 대한민국")을 받습니다. 사용자 식별자는 함께 보내지 않습니다. 이 호출은 Apple의 개인정보 정책을 따릅니다.
- 공유 — 렌더링된 영상에서 "공유"를 누르면 iOS의 기본 공유 시트가 열리고 사용자가 대상 앱을 선택합니다. LOMO Route Studio가 직접 영상을 업로드하지 않으며, 사용자가 선택한 대상 앱이 전송을 처리합니다.
- 프로젝트 페이지 링크 — 설정의 프로젝트 페이지 링크를 누르면 외부 브라우저가 열립니다. 앱이 그 페이지로 사용자 데이터를 전송하지 않습니다.
앱이 하지 않는 것
- 계정 생성 없음, 로그인 없음
- 사진 또는 영상의 업로드 없음
- 사용자 데이터를 저장하는 백엔드 서버 없음
- 분석, 광고, 추적 SDK 없음
- 사용자를 대신해 SNS에 게시하지 않음
- 개인정보 판매 없음
- 이 버전에는 인앱 결제가 없음 — 모든 지구본 스킨을 무료로 제공
데이터 보존
LOMO Route Studio는 사용자의 사진, 영상, 좌표를 어떠한 서버에도 저장하지 않습니다. Apple에 보낸 역지오코딩 요청은 LOMO Route Studio가 보관하지 않습니다. 선택한 사진과 생성된 결과물은 디바이스에만 저장됩니다.
